Tips for Sealing Concrete with Hydro & Quick Dip

Our Hydro Dip and Quick Dip were created as a solution for easy and safe sealing. Remember, our sealers are not only NON TOXIC and MADE IN THE USA,  but also NONFLAMMABLE, making them SAFE for candle vessels, planters, etc. Although it is a simple process, a few key steps must be followed for your result to be as intended.

Here are our best tips for Hydro Dip, Quick Dip & Colored Dip Sealers:

  • Make sure your item being dipped is dried and cured
  • Make sure you leave your item fully submerged for at least 60 Seconds to allow the sealer to soak into the pores of the vessel.
  • Allow the sealer to cure completely for up to 3 days, depending on the weather.
  • You may reuse the product you dipped with for some time, but DO NOT return it to the original container with the unused product. This could cause cross-contamination, and because the sealer is bio-based, it could alter the product.

Have fun creating your one of a kind vessels with Hydro Dip for materials like hydrostone, jesmonite & gypsum and Quick Dip for cement projects. Our newest product Colored Dip 'N Seal allows you to both color and seal your vessel at once. We currently offer our Colored Dip 'N Seal in Bright Green and Bright Red with more colors coming soon.

Don't forget about our concrete color options for your project, both solid colors and shimmers too.
